WELCOME TO ROSIE'S LABRADORS
We breed unbeatable family dogs!
Our Story: Welcome to Rosie's Labradors, my name is Alisha. My husband and I breed English Labrador Retrievers in Paso Robles, CA. Our labs are bred and raised in our home with our two boys. They are a part of our family. They keep us company as we drink our morning coffee on the patio, stick by our sides as we do chores around the house, and sleep at the foot of the bed when the sun sets.
We first chose to start breeding after Rosie, a fox red labrador, joined our family. Rosie is a dog I would consider a "once in a lifetime dog." Rosie is everything you want in a labrador, she is sweet, loyal, attentive, intelligent, and eager to please. Rosie is an English lab, and so she also has a calm easy-going personality that is very easy to get along with. Rosie is our foundation pup, and she comes a long line of high caliber dogs bred for the show ring and family room. They have excellent dispositions, conformation, and are bred for longevity. All of our puppies at Rosie's Labradors come with extensive health clearances to ensure they are around to love you and your family for many years to come.
Why Labrador Retrivers?
Up until 2021, the Labrador Retriever was consistently rated by the American Kennel Club as America's favorite dog breed. Currently, it still ranks #2 . The reason is clear: Labrador Retrievers are more than wonderful family dogs—they are adoring and friendly dogs, loyal, intelligent, patient, confident, highly trainable working partners. Their exceptional sense of smell, strong retrieving instinct, eagerness to please, and steady temperament make Labs well suited for service and therapy work, medical alert and mobility assistance, as well as police and detection roles such as locating narcotics, explosives, and missing persons. These same qualities can make them loyal, adaptable family companions. A Labrador Retriever is a perfect choice for a first-time owner and an experienced owner, as well for those who need a service animal or hunting buddy!
